Hi! We are Paul and Amanda, two physical therapists who have been helping patients since 2000, and the people behind Body Rehab Gym.
We want to share the secrets we’ve learned after having worked with tens of thousands of patients over the course of our careers. Our goal is to give back to the community, and provide clear answers to questions you have about getting your body to move and work better.
Both of us have personally struggled with our own physical issues and understand the profound effect that has on your well-being. So we created this website to help people achieve and maintain a higher state of physical health, especially for those battling pain, tightness, and other problems that limit a healthy, active lifestyle.
We love our profession, but found it frustrating dealing with a medical system that forces us to treat symptom areas instead of addressing the whole body, which left many people with unresolved symptoms and no place to turn. So we created Body Rehab Gym as a non-medical alternative to physical therapy, but it has become so much more.
If you're frustrated about the limitations of your physical health, or just have a genuine interest in learning more about your body, then this place is for you! Through our writing, videos, classes, and workshops we hope to shed light on what works and what doesn’t, so you don’t have to go through the trial and error process yourself. Our exercise programs are designed to specifically reduce muscle imbalances in the body--the main reason why people experience persistent pain and tightness.
